Il nome se l'è preso lui, come spetta a chi detta i requisiti sdraiato sulla tastiera. Chi prova a sviluppare su quella tastiera, nei momenti in cui gliela lascia libera, non ha potuto che adeguarsi: succede a chiunque abbia un amico peloso in casa, gatto o cane che sia.
He took the name himself, as befits whoever dictates the requirements lying on the keyboard. Whoever tries to write code on that keyboard, in the moments he leaves it free, could only go along with it: it happens to anyone with a furry friend at home, cat or dog alike.

Everything you write stays on the phone, in its local storage. There is no account to create, no server the app talks to, no usage data collected. Your friend's diary is a private thing, so the only copy that exists is yours. Nothing to fear: a copy of your data is set aside every day of the week, and moving it to another phone takes a few taps.

Pets live in a tab of their own, one at a time is the active one, and every other screen speaks about that one. Each screen carries its photo, its name and its weight at the top, with a way to switch friend a thumb away.

The opening screen answers “how is today going?” before asking for anything: the meals already recorded, each with a progress ring against the recommended amount, the doses due today that a single tap marks as taken, and the next three commitments in the diary, each with the icon and colour of its kind.

For kibble in a bowl there is the portion calculator, which works by weighing: weight before, weight now, weight after topping up. What goes into the history is the portion, not the intermediate weights.

You write a medicine's dose and schedule, then the individual doses appear on the days they are due, ready to be marked as taken or missed. Reminders are local notifications, scheduled on the phone and sent by no server.
Lo pesi nel trasportino. Metti tutto sulla bilancia, poi togli il peso del trasportino: nello storico finisce il peso del tuo amico e basta. Il trasportino Camillo se lo ricorda, quindi puoi cambiarlo senza perdere dati.
Sono tutti benvenuti. Ognuno ha la sua scheda e la sua storia, l'ordine della lista lo decidi tu, mentre quello di cui ti stai occupando resta sempre in cima.
Come preferisci tu. Scegli il tema oppure lascia decidere al telefono. Sullo sfondo puoi metterci la foto del tuo amico.
Puoi archiviare i tuoi amici e i loro cibi. I dati restano dove sono, mentre un tocco li rimette in elenco come se non se ne fossero mai andati.
Stampi quello che stai guardando. I pasti, il peso, le terapie, le visite: scegli il periodo e ne esce un PDF da mostrare o da mandare. Dalla schermata Oggi esce il fascicolo completo del tuo amico.
Una copia dei tuoi dati c'è sempre. Camillo ne mette da parte una al giorno e conserva l'ultima settimana, in un file che si potrà rileggere anche fra anni: la sfortuna non ci vedrà più molto bene.
È una passeggiata. Puoi trasferire i dati da un telefono all'altro con pochi tocchi, senza niente da ricreare e senza niente da ricordare: un account da spostare non c'è mai stato.
Camillo parla la tua lingua. Segue quella del telefono dalla prima schermata all'ultima, senza menu tradotti a metà.
Weigh him carrier and all. Everything goes on the scale, then you take the carrier's weight off: what goes into the history is your friend's weight alone. Camillo remembers the carrier, so you can change it without losing any data.
They are all welcome. Each has a record and a history of his own, you decide the order of the list, and the one you are looking after stays at the top.

There is always a copy of your data. Camillo sets one aside every day and keeps the last week, in a file that will still be readable years from now: bad luck will have a harder time of it.
It is a short walk. You can move your data from one phone to the other in a few taps, with nothing to set up again and nothing to remember: there never was an account to move.
Camillo speaks your language. It follows the one your phone is set to, from the first screen to the last, with no half-translated menus.
